Tissue stories

What's your fondest memory with a tissue paper? How weird a question, you might think...for tissue papers are so common a thing now, atleast abroad...and how can it be anything unique? Well.. Back in childhood, tissue papers were a rarity. We got hold of it only when our Gulf (or any 'foreign' region) relatives visited. It was magic to see how one could separate one tissue paper into two. It had a special scent too. Some girls folded it so artistically and fashioned a hair accessory out of it..a hair clip in the middle and voila, design ready...and I admired those with awe. There was once a classmate who bought a coloured tissue paper..and you can guess who was popular that day...it was sort of unbelievable back then. Small packets of portable tissue papers were stacked as a precious commodity in the later years...  Now, while staying in one of those 'foreign' countries, I can't help but ponder how casually we overuse tissue papers for anything and everything....
